Beyond the ordinary

My journey into Belly Dance began in 2008 in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of Northern California. I dedicated five years to studying and performing Egyptian/American Cabaret style Belly Dance under Yasmine of Sirens In Sanity. In 2013, I transitioned to Fusion style Belly Dance with Abigail Braun at Positive I Studio before being invited to join the professional troupe, East Wind Dance, from 2014-2017, a magical collective of musicians and dancers who performed around Northern CA. After a break to focus on higher education and relocating to Washington, I embraced  the  Fusion style again from early 2023-2024 at Infused Studio, and spent a year learning the Fat Chance Belly Dance style format under Denise of Dragonvein Studios, and Kristine Adams of FCBD. 

Each of my teachers, mentors, and peers over the years have inspired a grounded, heart and spirit centered Fusion Belly Dance style that brings together reverence, play, ritual, and community.
